In order to take any etched glass
project to the next level, we
always recommend LED lighting.
By applying light to the edges
of a glass surface, light travels
through the center of the glass
thus illuminating all areas which
are etched. Lighting is applied
to each project by producing a
custom wood, metal, or plastic
housing that fits directly on
to a glass piece.
The technological advancements
in the LED lighting industry has
provided an intensity never seen
before. This increased light intensity
has allowed many of our projects
to utilize not only bright white
lighting but red, blue, green,
and amber, along with a few custom
colors as well.
LED lighting is a very energy
efficient application, with an
average life space of seven to
ten years and zero maintenance.
The average length of travel for
a strip of LED’s is 30”.
Those projects larger than 30”
are required to have lighting
applied to at least two sides
of the glass.
There are many ways to apply lighting
to any project, if you have a

Installation of LED lighting can
be either plugged directly into
your standard electrical outlet
or hidden behind a wall or in
the ceiling.
Glass Creations has recently developed
two panel lighting systems, which
incorporates two glass panels
with different color LED lights
traveling through each piece.
